The Highway 55 Corridor Coalition is committed to securing right-of-way and related infrastructure improvements to:

• Increase safety

• Add capacity, including: additional lanes, access control and transit service (where appropriate)

Through formation of the Highway 55 Corridor Coalition, our goals are to:

• Save millions of taxpayer dollars (see What Can We Save)

• Plan before growth occurs

• Minimize time-wasting frustrating commutes (see Traffic Volume)

• Reduce crashes and fatalities (see Accident Information)

• Enhance the corridor to serve a growing economy and population (see Population Growth)
